Black Dawn chapter 12

    The day slowly melted into evening. The small she-cat rested some more after her conversation with Cloud. As she lifted her head, the grey tabby cat, Shrew padded towards her.
    "Listen, you are not going to stay here long, and you are not of to speak of this place to anyone. I would prefer if you left at moonhigh at the latest." Shrew growled.
    "But I have to tell this Thistle cat that Cloud says hello, and I don't think I can walk far at the moment. Anyways I no idea where I am. So how am I suppose to get to The Cliff of thy Dawn, if I have no idea how to get there. Well, how am I suppose to get to my destination, without any clue how to get there?" Hazel snapped.
    "Why is it important that you get to that cliff?" He growled.
    "I have to get there, I just do.. The stars have something important for me to do there.." She meowed more quietly. 
    "Like what? Tell me what it is you scrap of fur" He meowed dropping the growl.
    "First off my name is Hazel. Second I'm not a kit, I'll be twelve moons old in one moon. I don't know really what it is, but I know I'm suppose to do something important there. I might die doing it, or I'll live knowing I did something good for this world that is filled with so much darkness. I just feel soon as I get there I'll learn what I must do, and that will just add to my will to live. So far the questions I have are about the dreams I've been having, have been my will, but that isn't much. All I want is another reason to live" She meowed shaking her head.
    "Don't you have a family?" Shrew meowed tilting his head.
    "My parents left me for dead. My own mother lied to me, while my father kept saying I was just going to die, so why not leave me to die.. My brothers, I don't even know if they are alive, or even think I am alive, or even had a choice about leaving me.. Yet here I am alive, alone, making a friend or two who have a home, a family or friends who can look after them, while I'm on this path just trying to stay alive, just by my will to keep moving" she meowed as tears ran down her face.
    "I see. That's real sad, it's a pity. Really, such a strong will cat is all alone. But knowing this world, you'll find someone before you die. Trust me about that. Hmm,  in a few days when you get your strength back, I'll have Dusty, Moe, and Cloud escort you to the river, and tell you which direction to head in to get to the Cliff of thy Dawn. Maybe I'll let Cloud go as well, but he would have to have someone go with him.  If he gets to go, it will be the day after you leave.
    Hazel nodded understandingly. She was glad, that she got to meet such a great leader. Soon she'd be where dreams took place, and that meant some of her questions will finally be truly answered.
